Initiation to Babymassage
to consider doing after the birth, with your baby.
They are particularly beneficial during a baby’s first three month.
If you take a closer look at the development of babies senses during pregnancy, you shall
know that the first functional sense is the one of touch, very early, around 7 weeks.
From this moment on your child starts to feel everything what touches
him, just like everything what he touches himself.
This is how communication starts between you and your baby.
Your baby moves and instinctively you put a hand on your belly. Or you or your partner will put a hand on your belly and in response, your baby starts to move.
If this happens regulary, your child will remember this and knows exactly, how to get in touch and how to communicate with you. Et voilà, the basic is of bonding and attachment is created.

After the birth, touching stays as important as during pregnancy.
By touching, holding and caring your baby, you help him to feel safer and protected in this new enviroonment. This is the condition to be able to build up his basic trust in the strongest way possible.
The more often
and regular you give a massage to your child, the more both of you will get used to it and relax easier and faster. Giving and getting a massage is both relaxing once you know how it works.
So you can understand that relaxing through the massage is not working from the first moment on. It needs time to become used to it to relax completly. Like everything else also massage has his strong, but also weak moments and is not always
Thereby everybody will profit from this intensiv and beautiful time of massage.
You can massage your baby from the first days on after the birth. This will be mostly stroking, holding your baby, sometimes also a real massage.
Whenever you do this in a calm way and with all your love, you can not do something wrong.
Babymassage can be a good opportunity to the father to strengthen the relation ship, the bond between himself and his baby . Fathers often come home in
the evening. So theydon't have the same quantity of time with the baby. Massage could offer a perfect quality of time with the baby. By taking time, doing the massage very regular, the baby just waits for his father to come home and get this wonderful time
teaches the baby,how to relax and get prepared for the night.
Therby he will fall asleep easier and will then sleep much deeper.

I will show you what they like and what is important to know in doing a massage
of a newborn baby.Beside this i show you how to do the massage in case of colliques, stress, restlessness and problems to make the baby fall asleep. Here some little techniques of reflexologie can be helpfull.

Babymassage and Yoga
These are classes to consider
from the age of three month.
This is a real technique for the massage of the whole body, very complet and quit intensively.

Again we try to imagine his little world.
You realize than that your child is in a lying position most of the time,
nearly always in the same position and this during several month.
It's almost impossible for him to move his body.
Imagine yourself in thaut situation only for some hours. How wonerful than would be a massage.What a pleasure it would be to be moved and stretched.
Therefore the "Ayurveda Massage" and the "Yoga"exercices are that important.
Benefits of Babymassage
Massage helps your baby to realize and get to
know his body better. Therefore motricity is stimulated. He also learns to feel his body in the space and that why his balance will be strengthened. It increases the body consciousness.It sharpes all the senses.
Developpment of the synapses ( links between the nervs, who are mostly developped during the first year) are the most stimulated by touching your baby. Making the two parts of the brain connecting is
influenced as well by massage in an important way.
Beside this massage stimulates vascularisation, lymph flow and digestion. Massage of the chestliberates spannings,
therefore your baby can breath deeper and more relaxed.
In general it liberates a lot of spannings in the complet body, favours by that a much deeper sleep.
It teaches your baby very early, what moments of relaxing and peace mean.
This is so essntial and not to be underestimated in our todays stressed world!
Yet the most important will always be this intensive, amazing
and wonderful contact you will have with your baby during the massage. You will feel a magical connection with your child what influences your relationship in a high mesure!!
The Yoga is a lot of streching and crossing exercices.
After being in a lying position for month and most of the time not able to really change this, it is so important to move and stretch your babies body.
It keeps articulations flexibel
and makes muscles work. The movements will show and teach your baby how to change position, because they are done exactly the same way he will move later on .
Crossing exercices stimulate the connection of the two parts of the brain. This is the basic
for coordination and doing things in the right order.This will be the basic to learn reading and writing, left and right...
It stimulates concentration ( once your child becomes older and goes to scool).
Practical run off
After explaining the basics of massage, I will show in steps how to do it. Thereby you both will get used do it and you can learn and remember it slowly.
I will do it on my doll while you do it on your baby.
During every class we will repeat from the beginning
on, so that we will make the massage often enough together to make you feel confident to do it.
Generally we need 3 classes, but we always stay adapted to you
and your baby. Every day is different and we will respect the needs of your child.
In Class number 4 you are going to learn the yoga exercices, always after
having done the massage, because the body needs to warm up first. Those are a little bit more complicated to remember in detail. Therefore we repeat everything, massage and exercices, in class number 5 once more and then you will understand the logic behind.
We will try to do 1-2 classes per week, so that you have time to repeat at home.
The aim is doing massage and exercices so often, that you don't need to consider anymore what you need to do. You know the technique so well that
you can forget it again.
Only that way you can be with heart and soul with your child and enjoy this magical moment.
